Both Religion "And" History

In todays society, if a document is considered
to be "Religious", it is immediatly considered
to be worthless from a historical perspective.
Our book on Noah and the Current Riders of
Ice Age Atlantis will not be taken seriously by
some because it draws part of it's text from
"Religious" or "Spiritual" writings.
If a person can view writings from the Bible in
much the same way they view Plato's Atlantis,
an entirely different perspective can be found.
In the following segment, we will provide an
example of the "Historical" value of the Bible.
Most people are aware of the Bubonic Plague
that ravaged Europe during the Dark Ages.
This terrible disease killed off a third of the
population of Europe.
The signs of the Bubonic Plague were, festering
boils or sores in the underarms an in the privates.
Also there was an invasion of rats or mice.
Did you know, that the Bible provides one of
the earliest accounts of the Bubonic Plague?
In the 1st Book of Samuel, starting in chapter
four, the story is told of the struggle of Israel
with the Philistines. The Philistines lived in the
western part of the land on the coast of the sea.
In one of their battles, the Israelites had been
badly beaten by the Philistines. After that
defeat, it seems they decided to take the "Ark
of the Covanant" into battle with them. The Ark
carried the Law of Moses and they thought
that by taking it into battle with them, God
would be with them in battle. During the battle,
the Ark was captured, and the Israelite army
was driven away.
While the Ark was in the posession of the
Philistines, a strange new disease broke out. [Page]

The Philistines developed sores or boils on
their bodies. On top of that. there was an
invasion of "mice" that 'marred' the land.
The following verses describe these plagues.

1-Samuel-Chapt.5 Verse-9
"...and they had emerods in their secret parts."
1-Samuel-Chapt.6 Verse-5
"Wherefore ye shall make images of your
emerods, and images of your mice that mar
the land;....."
1-Samuel-Chapt.6 Verse13
"And they of Beth-shemesh were reaping their
wheat harvest in the valley;....."[KJV]

The above information provides all that is
needed to understand the plagues that were
afflicting the Philistine people.

1-The "Emerods" spoken of are boils, or sores
in their under arms or private parts.
2-The images of the emerods and the mice
show clearly the invasion of mice.
3-The fact that it was the season for harvesting
wheat shows an abundance of the favorite
food of mice or rats, that food is wheat.
4-An abundance of food means an abundance
of mice that eat the food. An abundance of
mice means an abundance of Fleas that live
on the blood of the mice. They also live on the
blood of humans.

If you are bitten by fleas that have also bitten
an infected mouse, it is the same as if you
recieved a tiny needle shot of Bubonic Plague
into your system. Every place you were bitten
will become a festering boil or sore.
