When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when buttered toast is dropped, it always lands buttered side down. These are indisputable laws of physics. Therefore, if a slice of toast is strapped to a cat's back, buttered side up, and the animal is then dropped, the two opposing forces will cause it to hover, spinning inches above the ground.

I will need a sizeable government grant, or large University endowment to research the feasability of this intriuging new theory. Also any private contributions will be appreciated. Due to the variations of the earth's gravitational field this research can be best persued at a lower latitude. I'm thinking the Bahamas. Amy
